The Wildfire Dragon Monument & Spirit Square in Louis Creek was opened in July 2008; it features full colour interpretive signage and photographs.
The 'Wildfire Dragon' is sculpted from a 250 year old fir log, is approximately 48 inches in diameter, and stands 12 feet tall.

Located at: 7 kms south of Barriere on the Louis Creek Industrial Park, Enterprise Way, Louis Creek, B.C. Traveling North - turn off the Yellowhead Highway onto Agate Bay Road, immediately turn right onto Enterprise Way and follow 1/2 km. to the end of a large cul-de-sac. Big rig parking and turn around with plenty of free parking available. Next door to the Country Store Antiques.

2011 Festival organizers are looking for sociable, spirited, customer service oriented folk of all kinds: From stagekeepers to parking crew to hosts and clean teams. We need eager people who care about the community. This is an event that brings people together in remembrance of the resolute, kind and giving individuals that have made our community what it is today and continue to help it thrive.
